Arthroscspy of Shoulder Joint

Abstract
Orthopedic sugeon is commonly confronted with shoulder problem, especially many diagnostic engimas.
The shoulder region and its clinical problems are a new frontier for arthroscopic surgeons previously experienced in knee techniques.
Beyond its exacr diagnostic capabilities, various arthroscopically monitored surgical procedures, such asglenohumeral reconstruction for recurrent anterior dislocation, rotator cuff repair, acromioplasty for impingementsyndrome and acromioclavicular resection offer the patient decreased morbidity, short hospitalization, more pleasing cosmetic jesuit and more exact surgical debridement and repair.
Moreover, there are no sports which do not use the shouldder joint motion and many athletes, especiallythrowing athletes have frequently shoulder problem.
Diagnostic delay and open surgery for shoulder problem in athletes frequently have made them not return to its previous functional performance.
In the future, reconstruction of glenohumeral ligament, rotator cuff repair, acromioplasty for impingement syndrom, and labral repair for throwing athhete will be treated routinely by arthroscopy not by open method just as menissectomy has teen done routinely by arthros-copy.
